The ultimate free traffic technique. The guy I learned this from, David Wood of WorkWithDavidWood had never marketed online and only using this technique was able to get his blog ranked in the top 200k on Alexa, and was getting 70 leads for his business a day in two months!

This is the technique I am using at the moment in my goal to start a brand new website (that you are on at the moment) and get it into the top 100k on Alexa by December 31st!

So free traffic is not always good traffic. The internet goldmine is in free targeted web traffic. You can get traffic to your site that already are disposed to like you, to trust you, to see you as an expert. You can also get to the top pages of Google search results using this.

Ok, enough hype, let’s get down to it:

Article Marketing 4 Step Process:
1. Write one good QUALITY article a day on your niche topic and add it to your blog or website.
This is the most important part. Choose the keyword you want to target and include this in your title. You don’t have to write well, you just have to give good information. The most important part of this is consistency. Do it every day.

2. Use Onlywire to distribute the article to around 30 social bookmarking pages (myspace, twitter, facebook, etc.)
Onlywire is a completely free tool if you add their button to your site (which frankly makes it easier to bookmark anyway). I get loads of people visiting my site from my social networking sites this way, and it’s mostly automated and takes less than 5 minutes. Google will love that you have links back to your website from such high ranking sites.

3. Create variations and submit these to article directories.
Don’t submit the same article to multiple directories. They hate this. You have to create a fresh variation for each directory. I write each sentence in the article 3 different ways so I know the meaning stays the same and use an article submitter that then creates fresh variations and submits the article to around 300 directories for me (You can read more about the software I use in my Resources). The most important thing is that the link in your author bio must go back to your original article on your webpage, not your homepage. This makes google see this article as high quality information that a lot of important sites are siting.

4. Make a short video introducing your article.
This again lets people see you, they know you are a real person. Distribute this video to as many video sites as you can. I use Traffic Geyser to reach as many sites as possible. Put a link, again to the original article, in the video resource box and tell people in the video that they can learn more by following the link. Again this will give you high quality links back to the same site.

Using this simple system you can create a massive amount of linkbacks to your site quickly and get to the top of Google fast. Not only will you be high on Google but you will have generated free targeted web traffic by reaching people who are actually interested in the information on your site. They will follow the links if they find your content valuable. The traffic that you get from Google will also be more targeted as they searched for the specific keywords you used. Being high in the organic search side of Google means that the trust people have in Google will be transferred to your site.

The most important thing to remember is that all links must go to your article. You want Google to see this article as important as the source of information for all these links about the same topic. Your article will then rank high for your chosen topic.

Anyone can achieve success in this, they just have to do the work and be consistent.
